Apple Valley Storm is a member of the California Youth Soccer Association - South (Cal South), a national youth state association of the United States Soccer Federation and United Sates Youth Soccer. There are 206 Member Leagues and Clubs comprising a membership of 137,000 registered players, coaches and league administrators. Service areas extend from San Luis Obispo to San Diego, with recreational and competitive opportunities for boys and girls 5-19 years old.

Coast Soccer League (CSL) is the largest of five gaming leagues in Southern and Central California that operate under the jurisdiction of Cal South. This season CSL has over 1900 teams, over 180 clubs, and more than 30,000 players who will participate in over 15,500 games played on 450 fields. CSL manages linked data files that contain teams, schedules, revisions, players, administrators, clubs, areas, titles, brackets, referees, assignors, cards, stats, fields and e-mail addresses.

TEAM ADMINISTRATORS start in the spring by completing the online team application. Each team must apply to play in CSL by May 15. TAs also maintain team rosters. If players have e-mail, the TA can use coastsoccer.com to send e-mail messages. Rosters are linked to Red and Yellow Card reports and are printed on Match Reports generated by TAs before each game. TAs input coach information and maintain the link to the team web site from coastsoccer.com.

CLUB ADMINISTRATORS maintain club information including the web site link, location (for players searching for teams) and the club logo. They also update the list of officials that you find with each club profile. In addition, field information is the responsibility of CAs -- maps, mudlines (number to call in case of bad weather), driving directions and the link for field weather reports (courtesy of The Weather Channel).

SPRING SOCCER will be in its fifth season this next year. Tentative playing dates are as follows:

• March 3 - 4, 10 - 11, 17 - 18, 24 - 25, 31.
  
• April 1, 7, 14 - 15, 21 - 22, 28 - 29
  
• May 5 - 6, 12, 19 - 20. (Reserved for Spring Cup).

The fees for all teams if application and payment is received before December 25th 2006 are:

(A) $325 Team Fee. ( 8 - 10 games scheduled, includes Spring Cup )
(B) $265 Team Fee, ( 6 games scheduled )
(C) $185 Team Fee, ( 4 games scheduled )

All teams must deposit a $150 Performance Bond (Conditionally Refundable). U-9, U-10, U-11, U-12, U-13, U-14, U-15, U-16, U-17 and U-19 Boys and Girls, are welcome to participate.

California State Cup has an entry fee of $450 with no bond required. Sign up dates are as follows:

PLAYDATES FOR STATE CUP

Coast Soccer League will be hosting the CSL/US Club California Cup in 2007.  California Cup will be restricted to US Club Soccer member teams that register through CSL. Teams registering for the CSL Cal Cup will also be registered (up to 18 players and 2 administrators) in US Club Soccer the 2005-2006 season.. The total cost is $395 for the tournament and for the 2006-2007 U.S. Club registration.  (Registered players in excess of 18 and registered administrators in excess of 2 will be charged an additional fee.)  If you are already a registered U.S. Club team, your entry fee is $245.
